Love myself... Yes, I do!
I love not just the light, but also the shadows that make me whole.
I embrace my seemingly contradictory nature – my crazy lifestyle alongside my iron discipline, my free spirit alongside my grounded wisdom.
I cherish my freedom of expression, even the way my eyes darken with exhaustion after a day lived fully.
I've learned to trust, to open my heart despite knowing it might break. This courage to remain vulnerable is part of my strength.
I stand proud of who I am today and excited for who I'm becoming tomorrow.
I believe imperfection is the truest form of beauty, and that genius often dances with madness. Better to be authentically ridiculous than forgettably boring.
While we can't control every event that shapes our story, we can choose how we write its chapters. Life is a collection of moments – some gentle, some fierce – and I choose to embrace them all.
This is my journey, my truth, my becoming.
About Vaishali Roy (Ritu)
I'm Vaishali Roy, though many know me as Ritu. I wear many hats—author, poet, life and wellness coach, podcaster, speaker, and entrepreneur—but at my core, I'm simply a woman who transformed her deepest pain into unstoppable purpose.
Based in Jamnagar, Gujarat, I write because words saved me when nothing else could. My five published books span self-help guides that decode toxic relationships, raw memoirs of survival, and Hindi-Urdu poetry that speaks what the heart cannot say. Each one is born from lived experience—the kind that breaks you open to heal you.
After surviving a near-fatal motorcycle accident in 2022 that left me unconscious for thirteen days, I discovered my true calling: helping women reclaim their power and heal naturally. Today, I guide 116,000+ women through life's toughest transitions as a certified life and wellness coach.
Beyond writing, I host two podcasts—"Zindagi Se" exploring life and relationships, and "Mahek - Khusboo Alfaazon Ki" celebrating poetry. I'm also a voice-over artist, motivational speaker, and co-owner of a shipping firm with my husband.
As a mother and wife, I understand the delicate balance between personal dreams and family life. This lived experience informs everything I create—from my books to my coaching programs to my daily content that reaches thousands.
My upcoming book, "The Licit & The Illicit," delves deep into the psychology of forbidden attraction and toxic relationship patterns. It's my most vulnerable work yet.
When I'm not writing, coaching, or running my business, you'll find me cooking, traveling, exploring new cuisines, or creating original Hindi music. Every experience feeds my creative soul and deepens my understanding of the human journey.
Through all my work—whether it's a book, a podcast, or a coaching session—my mission remains the same: to show women that their pain isn't punishment. It's preparation for the most powerful version of themselves.
Written Words & Spoken Voice
My love affair with words began in childhood, sparked by my father's writings. What started as a little girl playing with language has become my life's work—and honestly, I'm still learning, still growing, still discovering what words can do.
The dream of becoming a radio jockey lived in my heart for years before it became real. In 2012, I finally got my chance with Radio Asia Live. Though the channel's run was brief, it awakened something in me I couldn't ignore.
So I created my own platform: Radio-Masala.com, a web radio channel that ran from 2012 to 2017. It was my playground for creative expression, a space where passionate voices came together. Technology evolved, circumstances changed, and eventually, the channel closed—but the foundation it built remained.
In January 2023, I stepped into podcasting with two shows that capture different sides of my soul:
"Mahek - Khusboo Alfaazon Ki" celebrates the beauty of poetry—where words dance and emotions breathe freely.
"Zindagi Se" dives into life's messy, beautiful journey, offering real conversations about what it means to be human.
From childhood scribbles to professional podcasting, every chapter has taught me this: words—whether written or spoken—have the power to heal, connect, and transform. And that's what keeps me going.
The Journey as a Digital Creator
I started on Instagram in 2022, doing what everyone does—experimenting with trending Reels, trying out voice-over formats, chasing what was popular. It felt hollow.
So I stopped chasing trends and started sharing what actually mattered to me: my original poetry, meaningful two-liners, real thoughts about real struggles. Suddenly, people started listening.
Then something unexpected happened. The comments and DMs started pouring in—not just "love this," but "I need help with..." People were hurting. People were lost. People needed guidance navigating toxic relationships, rebuilding self-worth, choosing themselves first.
Here's the thing: I'd always been that person for my family and friends. I'd spoken at events. I'd motivated people during my radio days. But I never thought to build a platform around it—until my audience told me they needed it.
So I did.
Today, my content spans everything from self-love and personal growth to navigating betrayal and recognizing red flags. I create in response to what you're going through—your questions, your struggles, your stories. Because this isn't about building a brand. It's about building a community.
The response has been overwhelming. What started as Instagram Reels has grown to YouTube, Threads, and a community of 116,000+ women who show up daily—not just with likes, but with real conversations, vulnerable shares, and transformations that humble me.
I'm not here to sell you something. I'm here because I've walked through the fire, and I know the way out. And if my words can light your path, then that's exactly where I'm supposed to be.
A Journey of Wellness: From Recovery to Transformation
January 13, 2022. Rishikesh. A peaceful holiday turned into the fight of my life.
The accident left me with three metal plates in my body, six months of bed rest, and nine months before I could walk again. My ankle? Still compromised. I'll never run again.
But here's what they don't tell you about recovery: the body heals faster than the soul.
During the day, I smiled. I stayed strong for everyone watching. But at night? I cried into my pillow, wondering if I'd ever feel like myself again. The physical pain was brutal, but the mental and emotional darkness—that almost broke me.
What saved me wasn't just willpower. It was choosing healing over surviving.
I joined a health community, thinking I just needed to lose weight. Instead, I found something bigger: a roadmap to complete transformation. The physical changes came—yes, I lost weight. But what happened inside was revolutionary.
My sleep improved. My mood stabilized. My migraines—gone. My diabetes, which required insulin? Reversed. Triglycerides normalized. And slowly, painfully, beautifully—I fell back in love with life and myself.
Here's the truth: I didn't just heal my body. I healed my entire life.
That experience changed my calling. I couldn't keep this transformation to myself. I became a wellness coach because I know firsthand: your body can heal itself when you give it what it needs. No medications. No quick fixes. Just alignment, consistency, and belief.
My accident took my ability to run. But it gave me something greater—the ability to guide others home to themselves. Sometimes life's cruelest moments deliver its greatest gifts.
After my own transformation, becoming a wellness coach felt inevitable. I went through intensive training, but here's what I've learned: the real education happens daily, in the community, with real people facing real struggles.
What drives me? Watching people wait until they're desperate before they prioritize their health. By the time most people reach out, their options are limited, their bodies are exhausted, and the journey back is so much harder than it needed to be.
That's why I'm passionate about prevention. Start now. Don't wait for the crisis.
Our three-day trial program exists for exactly this reason. It's low commitment, high impact. People see others' transformations and think, "If they can do it, maybe I can too." And they can.
I've coached my mother, my sister, my aunts, my friends, and countless others. Each person's journey is different, but my approach stays the same: I treat every client like family. Because honestly? That's how I see you.
I have my own daughters, yes. But my maternal instincts don't stop there. When you join my wellness community, you become part of my extended family. I celebrate your wins, hold space for your struggles, and refuse to let you give up on yourself.
The greatest reward in this work? Watching someone's health transform. Every pound lost, every medication dropped, every pain relieved, every smile reclaimed. That's why I do this.
I believe gifting someone the knowledge and tools for lifelong health is one of the most valuable things you can do. So that's what I'm building: a ripple effect of wellness, one transformation at a time.

Life coaching found me in the darkness.
After my accident, I wasn't just healing physically. I was battling depression, drowning in negative emotions, questioning everything about myself and my relationships. In that darkness, I learned something profound: healing starts with self-love, and healthy relationships begin with knowing your worth.
That hard-won wisdom became my foundation.
As my Instagram grew with relationship advice and life guidance, something unexpected happened. Women started reaching out, not just liking posts, but opening up about their struggles. Toxic relationships. Lost identity. Shattered self-worth. They trusted me with their pain.
I realized I could help. Not because I had all the answers, but because I'd walked through the fire they were facing.
Here's the truth: I don't have a psychology degree. What I have is lived experience, deep empathy, and the ability to truly listen without judgment. But I knew that wasn't enough if I wanted to serve people well.
So I got certified as a life coach. I combined my intuition with professional training, my personal transformation with structured approaches. Now I can guide you not just from the heart, but with actual tools that work.
My approach is simple: I've been broken. I've rebuilt myself. I know what it takes to leave toxic relationships, reclaim your identity, and fall back in love with yourself. I can't walk the path for you, but I can light the way.
Life coaching became a natural extension of my wellness work. Because true healing isn't just physical. It's emotional. Mental. Spiritual. It's becoming whole in every way that matters.
If you're lost, stuck, or ready to choose yourself for the first time, I'm here. Not as someone who has it all figured out, but as someone who's figured out how to rise.

Never be bullied into silence. Never allow yourself to be made a victim. Accept no one's definition of your life, but define yourself.
You are unique. You have different talents and abilities. You don’t have to always follow in the footsteps of others. And most importantly, you should always remind yourself that you don't have to do what everyone else is doing and have a responsibility to develop the talents you have been given.
The easiest thing to be in the world is you. The most difficult thing to be is what other people want you to be. Don't let them put you in that position.
